100 years ago - on 7 March 1923 - Richard Steiff moved to the United States with his family. On this special anniversary, an absolutely unique vintage-replica awaits you, the likes of which have never been seen before. Baerle from 1905 is the oldest jointed Teddy bear in the Steiff archives.

This artisans at Steiff have created a lovingly detailed reproduction of the original Baerle as he is in his present state. Every little abrasion in the blond mohair, the head tilted to one side, little scars on the soles and paws: A dearly beloved replica Baerle gazes out at you from his faithful, black wooden eyes.

Produced in an edition size of only 323 pieces, this breath taking bear comes in a special Limited Edition box with a certificate and booklet.

5 way jointed with Wood Eyes and stuffed with Wood Shaving Filling, and with "underscored button" made of patinated steel and Surface Washable.
